Vishwa Mohan traces his musical lineage back to a man named Tansen, a beloved court musician to the Mughal Emperor Akbar, who lived during the 16th century in India. Tansen was known for his legendary command of raga. It was said that his music could captivate any heart, and even summon the elements. To this day, Tansen’s tradition of mastery continues, and our varied emotions and moods are yet activated by the mystical power of raga.

Mysore V. Srikanth is an outstanding accompanist and virtuoso classical Indian violin soloist. Like his older brother V. K. Raman, Shrikanth plays with incredible sensitivity in the Carnatic style and has given concert tours throughout the world. As an accompanist, Srikanth has worked with the leading performers of Carnatic music, including R. K. Srikantan, Dr. M. Balamuralikrishna and T. N. Seshagopalan. In addition, Srikanth has performed with great mridangam maestros such as Palghat R. Raghu and Dr. T. K. Murthy.
